Alterations

For your convenience we have an independent contracting seamstress in our store from 2-5pm every Sunday.

First come first served.

No appointment needed.

Alterations are done by an independent contractor.

She is an experienced seamstress and will fit your gown with the expert touch it needs.

Her prices are reasonable. She determines her own prices for alteration charges for each dress according to how much time and work is involved.

Alterations costs are cash only basis. Dresses purchased here, including all layaway dresses, must be fully paid for before alteration pinning will be made.

The best time for altering is NO later than one month before the event, but rush orders are accepted. (If you are expecting, this time frame will need to be adjusted, talk to our sales staff.)

Alterations for garments not purchased from our store are welcome.

IMPORTANT: You will need to have your under garments and the shoes you will be wearing during your event. You will need them to be wearing them during your fitting. We do carry some undergarments and shoes in our store but suggest you come in to be fitted for them before the alterations day in case your special size may need to be ordered.
